Tyrone will be without Stephen O’Neill and the McMahon brothers – Joe and Justin – for the first two games of the Allianz Football League.

A long-standing knee problem is still troubling O’Neill, along with a knee injury he picked in last August’s All-Ireland semi-final.

Joe McMahon is ruled out because of a groin injury, while younger brother Justin is still feeling the effects of a hamstring niggle.

The Red Hand begin their spring campaign away to Derry on 2 February, while Mayo are the visitors to Omagh the following weekend.

Ahead of those games Mickey Harte’s side face Cavan in the McKenna Cup final on Saturday next in Enniskillen.

In other news Bernard Brogan is also set to miss Dublin’s opening two games in the upcoming campaign with a groin injury.
