Offaly great Liam O'Connor died on Monday evening aged 58.

Defender O'Connor was a key member of the Offaly team that won the All-Ireland title in 1982, denying Kerry the five-in-a-row.

The Walsh Island clubman lined out in that final alongside his brother Tomás.
