Kieran McGeeney's reign as Kildare senior football manager has come to an end.
Tonight’s county board meeting discussed the issue and when it was put to a vote the Armagh man lost out by 29 votes to 28.
McGeeney took over in 2007 but failed to lead the Lilywhites to any significant silverware.
