The Ulster GAA Competitions Control Committee has agreed to establish an investigation into the alleged racial abuse of Crossmaglen’s Aaron Cunningham during last Sunday's Ulster GAA Club Senior Football Championship final.

The investigation will based on the contents of the referee's report into the clash between Crossmaglen and Kilcoo.

The decision to investigate the allegations was made at a UCCC meeting on Tuesday night.

A group has been established to conduct the investigation and will be reporting back to the UCCC in due course.

Ulster GAA have also stated that there will be no further comment on this issue until the investigation is complete.

Cunningham, whose father is black, says that two of the Kilcoo panel racially abused him during the game.
