Alan Smith is awaiting the results of a scan on a knee injury this morning after picking up a knock in yesterday's Leinster Club Senior Football Championship semi-final defeat to Ballymun Kickhams.
The Sarsfields man was forced off in the 39th minute and suffered swelling in his knee afterwards.
He will learn of the prognosis following a scan today amid fears he suffered cruciate ligament damage.
Smith played a prominent role in the Lilywhites run to the All-Ireland Football Championships quarter-final this year.
Devastated after today never took our chances simple as. Best of luck to Ballymun in the final. Knee scan tomorrow fingers crossed.
