Tony Hannon is stepping down from inter-county football with Wicklow after spending 16-years playing for the Garden County.
Hannon confirmed the new via his twitter account where he said: "I am hanging up my inter county football boots.
"Thanks to all the great friends & team mates I made over the past 16 years with @wicklowgaa."
The Hollywood forward’s finest moment for Wicklow came in 2009 when his last minute point secured his side a victory over Down in the third round of the All-Ireland qualifiers.
Hannon’s announcement comes on the back of a similar decision from goalkeeper John Flynn, who hung up his boots last week.
