Mayo have chosen Enda Varley to replace the injured Andy Moran for Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final with Dublin on Sunday.

Mayo captain Moran's season came to an end when he sustained a knee injury during the comfortable quarter-final win over Down.

The speculation was that manager James Horan was considering bringing in either Varley or Alan Freeman, but it is the former who has been given the nod for the repeat of the 2006 semi-final clash between the counties.

There is one positional change as well, with Jason Doherty moving to centre-forward and Cillian O'Connor moving into corner-forward.

Apart from that, however, Horan has kept faith with the side that demolished Down 3-18 to 2-09 on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Mayo (SF v Dublin): David Clarke; Kevin Keane, Ger Cafferkey, Keith Higgins; Lee Keegan, Donal Vaughan, Colm Boyle; Barry Moran, Aidan O'Shea; Kevin McLoughlin, Jason Doherty, Alan Dillon; Enda Varley, Cillian O'Connor, Michael Conroy.
