Monaghan have made four changes for their Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-final against Down at the Morgan Athletic Grounds on Sunday.
There were doubts over the availability of Darren Hughes, but the Farney captain has been named at right half-back.
The Scotstown clubman had suffered a career-threatening thigh injury, but returned to training a couple of weeks ago. Kieran Duffy is the man to make way.
Donal Morgan come in for for Drew Wylie at corner-back, while the two alterations in attack see Pete Dooney replace Matthew McKenna at wing-forward, and Kieran Hughes unseat Christopher McGuinness at corner-forward.
Monaghan XV to play Down in the Ulster SFC semi-final at Morgan Athletic Grounds on Sunday at 2pm:
Mark Keogh; Drew Wylie, Vinnie Corey, Colin Walshe; Darren Hughes, Dessie Mone, Karl O’Connell; Owen Lennon, Dick Clerkin; Pete Dooney, Stephen Gollogly, James Turley; Kieran Hughes, Paul Finlay, Conor McManus.
Tommie Freeman is surprisingly left on the bench again, despite coming on in the 1-12 to 1-09 quarter-final win over Antrim.
However, it would be no shock if the former All-Star corner-forward were to take the field from the start at the Armagh city venue.
The winner of Sunday’s game will face either Donegal of Tyrone in the Ulster final on 22 July.
