Derrytresk and Dromid Pearses have been disciplined by the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee following the violent scenes which marred the clubs’ All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship semi-final in Portlaoise on Sunday, 22 January.
Tyrone outfit Derrytresk are understood to have been fined €5,000 and have had eight players banned, while Kerry side Dromid Pearses have incurred three suspensions and a €2,000 fine.
Derrytresk, who are likely to appeal the sanction, have had four of the side who started the match and four substitutes suspended.
Derrytresk are due to face Galway club Clonbur in the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship final at Croke Park on Sunday, 12 February.
