Conor Cosgrove kicked an injury-time point to give Garrycastle of Westmeath their first Leinster Club Senior Football title after a dramatic final with St Brigid's in Tullamore.
The Athlone side dominated the first half and opened up a six points to one lead by the break, and when Garry Dolan scored a goal early in the second half, the contest looked all over.
But there was still plenty of time for drama.
St Brigid's, who hadn't performed in the opening period, found their form and they struck back in style.
Relentlessly clawing back Garrycastle's advantage with point after point, they drew level with just a minute of the game remaining when Gavin McIntyre slotted over from the right-hand side.
However, there was time for one last twist in the tale and it came a little over a minute into injury time when Garrycastle were awarded a free kick.
Cosgrove stepped up to the plate and he coolly slotted over with the last kick of the game to send Garrycastle supporters into raptures.
The victory for Garrycastle sets up an All-Ireland semi-final meeting with neighbours St Brigid's of Roscommon, who are the reigning Connacht champions.
