Offaly's Ciaran McManus has called time on a 16-year inter-county football career.
The 34-year-old's decision will be another blow for new Faithful boss Gerry Cooney, coming after Niall McNamee quit the county scene out of frustration at the delay in appointing a successor to former boss Tom Cribbin.
McManus won a Leinster championship medal under Tommy Lyons in 1997 and a year later claimed an Allianz League Division 2 title. He also represented Ireland in the International Rules series.
