Result: Kerry 1-11 Dublin 1-12
1732 There is a report on the game in our GAA section now. We'll have plenty of reaction from this historic Dublin win. Thanks so much for reading and remember you can enjoy that dramatic finish again on The Sunday Game at 9:30pm. Well done to Dublin and Kerry for a cracking game. The quote of the day: 'See you all in Coppers'.
1729 Stephen Cluxton went down the tunnel at full-time and did not join in with the celebrations.
1725 Jack O'Connor congratulations Dublin and states they deserve to win the title. That is a very gracious and sporting statement by the Kerry boss.
1721 The lap of honour continues around Croke Park. It is fantastic to see pictures like it. Dublin wanted this so badly and they deserve it.
1716 The Dublin players bring Sam to Hill 16. The party has just started it seems.
1713 "It was a glorious finale to a great All-Ireland," according to Joe Brolly. Now, you can please him Stephen. See 1258.
1711 Cullen proclaims at the end of the speech "See you all in Coppers". The Kerry players trudge off the pitch, devastated by that finish.
1708 Bryan Cullen lifts Sam Maguire on this special day for Dublin football. Cullen is making his victory speech, declaring the panel has been to "hell and back" in recent years to win this title.
1705 It is so fitting that Cluxton was the man to hit that score, a legend of Dublin football. Michael Dara McAuley proclaims it the perfect day for Dublin.
1704 The long wait is over for Dublin. It has been 16 years and you can see every day, month and year draining out of the Dublin players.
1703 The referee blows the full-time whistle with tears, joy and history littered around Croke Park. The most amazing finish to a final in recent memory.
Full-time: Kerry 1-11 Dublin 1-12
DUBLIN HAVE WON THE ALL-IRELAND FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
70 + 2 min It goes over the bar! Amazing scenes as Hill 16 watches the ball land between the posts. Cluxton coped with the weight of the capital on the shoulder. It looks like it is Dublin's All-Ireland.
70 + 1 min McManamon is brought down and it gives Cluxton a free to win the All-Ireland for the Dubs from 30 metres. This will be the final kick. Dublin, get ready.
70 min Kieran Donaghy, the courage and bravery you showed with this kick deserves so much credit. From 35 metres out, Donaghy's high shot lands just inside the post. Kerry 1-11 Dublin 1-11
68 min Diarmuid Connolly does brilliantly to pick out Bernard Brogan to put Dublin in front! Brogan coped with all the pressure on the kick. This is amazing. Croke Park is electric. Kerry 1-10 Dublin 1-11
67 min Kerry are trying to fashion a scoring opportunity but Dublin have a new energy and there is neither time or space for the Kingdom. Eventually Keane loses the ball and the Dubs start again.
65 min And with Croke Park still rocking, Kevin Nolan brings the teams level with a great score from 40 metres. The Hill is rocking. Kerry 1-10 Dublin 1-10
64 min Decisiveness wins finals and Kevin McManamon knew exactly what he wanted here. Darran O'Sullivan's sloppy pass allows Alan Brogan to win the ball and give McManamon a run at goal. The finish is clinical and the dream is alive once again for the Dubs.
GOAL - DUBLIN - KEVIN MCMANAMON
63 min Classy point by Colm Cooper as he turns away from his man and takes the time to place the ball between the posts. Kerry are finishing the stronger, no doubt about that. Can Dublin change it? Kerry 1-10 Dublin 0-09
61 min This is by no means an easy kick, given there are 10 minutes left in the biggest game of the year and the outcome is still very much in doubt, but Cooper makes it look so easy. Kerry 1-09 Dublin 0-09
60 min Cian O'Sullivan's over-zealous tackle is another example of Dublin throwing this game away. It is a free for Colm Cooper with 35 metres separating the ball and the posts.
59 min McManomon's shot for a point is weak and it is picked up by Kealy to feed the Kerry half-back line. We're seeing significant turnover now.
58 min Cluxton takes the ball from under the crossbar and kicks it clear to start a Dublin attack.
57 min M D McAuley concedes an unnecessary free and it allows Bryan Sheehan another effort at goal. This one is 50 metres out.
56 min Sheehan knocks the ball over the bar from 25 metres out. Eoghan O'Gara enters the game for the Dubs in place of Barry Cahill. Kerry 1-08 Dublin 0-09
55 min Cynical foul by Kevin McManamon as he tugs Darran O'Sullivan with Kerry bringing huge numbers up for an attack.
54 min Sheehan is making a big differnce in this half with his long-range kicking. This score is from the 45-metre line and is off the ground. Good point. Kerry 1-07 Dublin 0-09
52 min McManamon makes an immediate impact as a free is given when the ball is handled on the ground by Marc O Se inside the small rectangle. Dublin were looking dangerous with McManamon at the heart of it. Brogan will take the routine score. Kerry 1-06 Dublin 0-09
50 min Bryan Sheehan produces a wonderful point as he turns three Dublin players and places the ball between the posts. Kevin McManamon is on for Paul Flynn. B J Keane comes on for Donnchadh Walsh. Kerry 1-06 Dublin 0-08
47 min This is enthralling stuff and Bernard Brogan almost changes the game. Killian Young is left for dead by Brogan who tries to curl it in to the net with his left foot. Goalkeeper Brendan Kealy is not comfortable as he hopes to see it go away from the goal. It is just wide but my word it was close.
44 min Ger Brennan is given a yellow for an elbow to Declan O'Sullivan. It was a very hard hit by Brennan and he was fortunate to just receive a yellow card. Cooper lobs the free over for the point. Kerry are level and it seems like it has happened in an instance. Can I delete that "one winner" bit now? Kerry 1-05 Dublin 0-08
43 min Kieran Donaghy takes his point but this was a serious goal chance. The Kerry forward once again picks up the ball from the high pass forward. He just has Cluxton to beat, but with little room to try to pick out a colleague, he fists it over from close-range. Kerry 1-04 Dublin 0-08
42 min Sheehan tries to pick up the ball but Dublin are penalised when two players knock him to the ground. A much-needed score is coming one would bet with the ball just 15 metres from the posts. Kerry 1-03 Dublin 0-08
41 min Declan O'Sullivan is put under a considerable amount of pressure as he tries to make room for a score. Kerry are struggling to find rhythm and life in their passing. As it stands, there is only one winner today. But it would be a foolish man to say that. And I'm too busy to delete it.
40 min Denis Bastick and Bernard Brogan combine to leave the Kerry defence trailing. Bastick is handed the scoring opportunity and he wallops it over the bar. Kerry 1-02 Dublin 0-08
38 min Michael Dara McAuley powers past two Kerry defenders and is pulled to do the ground by Bryan Sheehan before he can fist over. It was a cynical foul by Sheehan and presents Bernard Brogan with a simple free. Sheehan receives a yellow card. Brogan scores the point and Dublin are ahead by two points. Kerry 1-02 Dublin 0-07
37 min Tomas O Se tries to pick out Donaghy with the usual high ball tactic to the Kerry forward. It does not work on this occasion.
36 min Alan Brogan spurns the first chance of the second half, shooting with his left-foot and failing to beat the near post on the Hogan Stand side.
1622 The players are coming out on to the pitch. The attendance of over 82,000 is a sell-out of course.

1613 Pat Spillane: "Kerry are playing second fiddle to Dublin and Jack O'Connor has a lot to do at the break".
1607 Dublin lead by one point at the break. It is gripping without reaching the standard we were expecting. Dublin have been more clinical in terms of point-scoring. Kerry have looked threatening as expected and Cooper's goal demonstrated that. I think both teams will improve and we're in for a thrilling second half.
Half-time: Kerry 1-02 Dublin 0-06
35 + 2 min It is a poor kick by Cooper and the ball drifts wide. That should be the final action of the half.
35 + 1 min Anthony Maher is pushed to the ground by James McCarthy so Colm Cooper can level things from 30 metres.
35 min Galvin is again guilty of a foul, this time on Ger Brennan. The decision looks harsh but Bernard Brogan will not mind. Faced with a kick from 30 metres, Brogan misses the target.
34 min Darran O'Sullivan and Gooch combine after the high ball and pick out the free man, Paul Galvin, to place it over the bar. Kerry 1-02 Dublin 0-06
32 min Brogan lobs the ball between the posts. Galvin needs to get to grips with the game soon because he has been a hinderance more than a help so far for the Kingdom. Kerry 1-01 Dublin 0-06
31 min Galvin gives away a free after bringing down Diarmuid Connolly. This should be another point for Dublin as Bernard Brogan stands 25 metres out.
29 min The big players are rising to the occasion now. This was like a score from Alan Brogan earlier in the game. Paul Galvin's inaccurate pass allowed Dublin to work it to Bernard Brogan to score from 30 metres. That is his first point from play. Dublin are ahead for the first time. Kerry 1-01 Dublin 0-05
28 min Cluxton has an easier free on this occasion and makes no mistake to level the teams. Kerry 1-01 Dublin 0-04
27 min Cian O'Sullivan matches Kealy's intervention with a fantastic stop from Kieran Donaghy. The Kerry attacker rises high to win the ball and had two Dublin defenders and Cluxton to beat. O'Sullivan got in the way of the ball and Dublin cleared.
25 min Kealy proves all his critics wrong with a superb save. Bernard Brogan flicked the high ball down to Alan, who composed himself and tried to find the net from close range. Kealy stood tall and pushed the ball away. Brilliant stop.
25 min Paul Galvin is on the field with Kieran O'Leary substituted at a very early stage.
24 min There has been an off-the-ball incident between Darran O'Sullivan and Rory O'Carroll that results in a yellow card for the Dublin defender.
22 min Diarmuid Connolly is brought down by Aidan O' Mahony, allowing Bernard Bernard Brogan to hit his first point of the day from a simple free. Kerry 1-01 Dublin 0-03
20 min That has ignited the final. This is the situation we all talked about. How will Dublin react when inevitably the Kerry forwards work their magic? No sign of a chance yet as possession is exchanged in midfield.
17 min Tom O'Sullivan rises brilliantly to start the Kerry attack. He punches it forward and allows Darran O'Sullivan to carve open Dublin. Cooper demonstrates sensational movement to work the room, allowing the quick pass from O'Sullivan, and the finish is spectacular. Game on. Kerry 1-01 Dublin 0-02
GOAL - KERRY - COLM COOPER
15 min Alan Brogan is looking good though. Killian Young drops to the ground when tackled and he collects the ball and scores his second point. Dublin lead. Kerry 0-01 Dublin 0-02
14 min Eventually Tomas O Se has a good chance for a point but the shot is easily gather by Cluxton. I wouldn't describe it as cagey. Conditions are making it difficult to manufacture openings for a score.
13 min Kevin Nolan's mis-placed pass into the Dublin half-forwards allows Kerry to break up field.
12 min Paul Flynn is booked for a high challenge on Aidan O'Mahony and rightfully so.
11 min Until now. Bernard Brogan offloads to Alan Brogan who peels away from Killian Young and curls it over the bar. Kerry 0-01 Dublin 0-01
11 min Cluxton's shot is just wide of the post. There has been just one point so far with Dublin yet to score.
10 min Eoin Brosnan's trip allows Stephen Cluxton to come up from goal and takes his first free of the day.
8 min More danger for Dublin as Donaghy wins a breaking ball and it falls to Walsh in the big rectangle. Walsh loses the ball after a challenge by Ger Brennan and it bounces out of play and wide.
7 min Cluxton punches Donnchadh Walsh's high ball with Kieran O'Leary challenging for it.
5 min Alan Brogan can't beat the near post with his attempt at point, under pressure from the Kerry defence.
4 min Diarmuid Connolly's effort for point is claimed by Brendan Kealy with the Dublin fans cheering in expectation of it going over the bar. That was good goalkeeping by Kealy.
3 min Eoin Brosnan loses the ball after a sustained spell of Kerry pressure. It began with Kieran Donaghy almost dropping back to the left half back position or midfield, which created plenty of room.Kerry struggled to keep hold of the ball in the wet conditions though.
2 min Ominous as a swift move from Kerry allows Darran O'Sullivan burst down the left and offload to Declan O'Sullivan to fist it over. Kerry 0-01 Dublin 0-00
1 min Dublin begin on the attack with Alan Brogan and Killian Young competing for the ball before it is knocked out the ball. The umpires and referee decide it is a Kerry ball.
1529 We're ready. Joe McQuillan takes the ball and the game will get underway.....
1526 The Dublin team gather in a huddle with Bryan Cullen roaring some last minute instructions.
1523 The teams begin their parade around the Croke Park pitch as the entire crowd rise to their feet. This is what the 30 players on the pitch dream about. The rain will not dampen sprits. Lets hope for a classic. It should be a great game of football.
1521 "Sitting in the hot sun in Johannesburg listening to commentary.
"Would swap it any day to be on the Hill. Come on the boys in blue lets bring Sam home."
Paul, Madeline, Patrick and Cian Hoban, originally from Ballinteer in Dublin.
1520 President McAleese greets the players in what is her last final in the role.
1515 Eddie and John, two Cavan men, are listening in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. Paul Galvin looks very sharp in the warm-up. If Kerry are struggling at any stage in the second-half, there is no doubt Galvin will be called upon.
1512 I think Kieran Donaghy is going to have a fine game today. I can't wait to see how the Dublin backline perform. Pat Spillane confidently states there is not a hope in hell Kerry will deploy a sweeper at any stage.
1509 Kerry follow to an equally generous reception. We are just 20 minutes away from the start of the game.
1508 The Dublin players are on the pitch and are greeted with a huge roar.
1507 Joe Brolly has compared Kerry to Barcelona in the way they hold on to the ball.
1506 Pat means "long" by Kerry standards. Which is about four years.
1505 Pat Spillane says that if Kerry do not win today it will signal a long period of time without All-Ireland success.
1504 Watching pictures of the crowd sums up the mood. The Dublin supporters are boisterous and look very excited. The Kerry fans stand focused and ready for 3:30pm!
1502 The panel are currently comparing attitudes in soccer and rugby going into today's game. Is this the apocalypse?
1501 Joe Brolly calls on Dublin to forget about Kerry's reputation and play their own game.
1500 Liam and Jeanne from Sao Paulo, Brazil are hoping for another Kerry/Dublin classic. "Up The Dubs" from Thelma Jim Ciara and Caitlin in Perth, Australia.
1458 The rain has stopped but the pitch will be slippy in the early stages. It will be interesting to see which team copes best with that.
1455 The Dublin team will line out as named earlier in the week.
1445 Pat Gilroy, speaking to The Sunday Game, says Dublin should be in more finals. He describes the Donegal game as an "unbelievable battle".
1441 Now to the big one. A straw poll in the office saw just one of our team pick a Dublin victory.
1436 That was one of the best finals I've seen. It was thrilling and they produced an amazing standard of football for minor teams. The Dublin team look dejected after that late mistake. Tipperary celebrate a first minor win since 1934.
1434 Tipperary have done it. They have upset the odds and there are some emotional scences in Croke Park. They have put so much work into this and Tipperary football is on the rise.
Full-time: Dublin 1-14 Tipperary 3-09
60 min There will be one minute of added-time as Ciaran Kilkenny hits a free. Dublin 1-14 Tipperary 3-09
59 min Wides from Ivory and O'Conghaile adds to the Dublin worries. They are panicking as we enter the final minute.
58 min Colman Kennedy could only have dreamed of this moment. Dublin goalkeeper Ross O'Hanlon comes out from his goal and loses the ball. There is a certain point on for Kennedy but he unleashes a stunning shot into the top corner. Dublin 1-13 Tipperary 3-09
GOAL - TIPPERARY - COLMAN KENNEDY
56 min Fulham tries to have a stab at goal but Tipp show resolute defending to stop the Dublin forward in his tracks.

1400 Hill 16 is filling up nicely, with the Dubs looking to cheer their team on to a minor success.
1359 Though you might not top this. Deno and Dave are following today's proceedings from Manas Air Base in Kyrgyzstan.
1357 I find that one of the best things about All-Ireland final day is the connection it brings between Irish people abroad and at home. 90 minutes until throw-in, keep you message coming folks.
1355 "Gordon (Kerry) and Joe (Dublin), two Irish friends living in Tokyo watching the match, via text and Irish Pub. Will we be friends tomorrow?"
I could have a field day with that one.
