Result: Dublin 0-22 Tyrone 0-15
2044 We have a report on that game in our GAA section now. Thanks for reading and we'll be back tomorrow for the All-Ireland Hurling Championship semi-final between Kilkenny and Waterford.
2040 The Dublin fans will be dreaming of All-Ireland glory after that showing. Who can blame them? Donegal will have their hands full in the semi-final, that is one to look forward to.
2037 Dublin progress to a last four meeting with Donegal. They were magnificent today. Tyrone could not cope with such a display and it is the end of the line for many of their senior players.
Full-time: Dublin 0-22 Tyrone 0-15
70 min Kevin Nolan is helped off the field after picking up an injury.
2033 From Robert Fulham: "Why do they have goalkeepers when both teams NEVER try to score goals? The Premier League is starting next week - now that is real football."
68 min Dublin are trying to hold on to the ball and see out the game but as I said Tyrone keep on battling.
66 min McGinley adds another score from the Red Hand from close range. The scoreline looks a lot better now. What would a goal do? Dublin 0-22 Tyrone 0-15
65 min Sean Cavanagh bombs down the wing and fires over with Cluxton just unable to reach it. Tyrone are going down with some fight, to their credit. Dublin 0-22 Tyrone 0-14
64 min Alan Brogan and Stephen O'Neill exchange scores within 60 seconds. This has been a hugely enjoyable game. Dublin 0-22 Tyrone 0-13
63 min Bernard Brogan looked as if he had no options on this occasion so he somehow forces the room to shoot from a tough angle and the Hill 16 watch the ball sail over the bar. What a day for the Dubs. Dublin 0-21 Tyrone 0-12
62 min Martin Penrose's frees, now totalling four after this effort, keep Tyrone in some sort of reach. But it looks much too far now. Dublin 0-20 Tyrone 0-12
61 min Cluxton's next piece of action is a free, won by Bernard Brogan, finds the target to add more to the Dublin lead. Dublin 0-20 Tyrone 0-11
59 min Goal chance for Tyrone as it's two against one with O'Neill trying to find room to shoot from the long ball forward. The Dublin defenders come back in numbers and Cluxton pokes it away.
58 min Tyrone are not giving up as Martin Penrose's free from 40 metres creeps inside the post. Dublin 0-19 Tyrone 0-11
56 min Brogan picks out Cahill once again who refuses temptation to go for goal to increase the points tally. This is sublime play, the ball from Bernard Brogan was simply brilliant. It made Cahill's job very easy. Dublin 0-19 Tyrone 0-10
55 min Bernard Brogan adds Dublin's second placed ball score of the day. They should cruise home. Dublin 0-18 Tyrone 0-10
54 min Stephen O'Neill has impressed since coming on, turning Cian O'Sullivan on this occasion and making light work of the tough angle to take Tyrone into double figures. Dublin 0-17 Tyrone 0-10

50 min Lovely ball by Bernard Brogan across the rectangle as he feeds Paul Flynn to fist over. Double scores. Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-08
48 min Sean Cavanagh's free cuts the gap further. They have made a bit of progress in recent minutes but the goal opportunities keep coming. Dublin just need to finish it off and I say need because Tyrone are throwing everything they have at them now. Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-08
47 min Another goal chance spurned for the Dubs. They are destroying the Tyrone backline right now, with Alan Brogan's shot hitting the outside of the post and rebounding away.
46 min Dooher ends an 11-minute drought with a fine point from a powerful shot from 35 metres. Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-07
45 min Cahill misses a chance to seal the win as a quality counter-attack and passing move gives the forward the chance for goal but it is dragged wide.
44 min Hill 16 is rocking. The Dubs are on top of their game here and sending out a warning to Kerry, Mayo and most importantly Donegal for 28 August.
43 min Bernard Brogan shakes of the attentions of Joe McMahon to get a clear run in on goal but it goes just over the bar. Stephen O'Neill is on for Peter Harte. It looks too late. The attendance is 52,651. Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-06
42 min Dooher snatches a shot wide at the near-post from distance. Tyrone are using a tactic of knocking it towards the goal and hoping for a breaking ball for a three-pointer. It is not workign so far.
41 min Penrose is penalised for challenging inside the square from Dooher's high ball towards goal. If the first score of this half was vital, it has to be said that if they next scores are from the boys in blue, then the game is over.
39 min The Dubs are not waiting to finish this game. Paul Flynn quickly adds another point for Gilroy's men. The home crowd chant "Who are ya"?
GAA traditionalists cringe, Tyrone stare down the barrel of a heavy defeat. Dublin 0-14 Tyrone 0-06

36 min Feisty start to the second half with both teams trying to get a good grip of the ball. The first score of this half will be important you feel...
1959 Carolan and Dooher in for the Red Hand. Here comes the second half...
1957 Pat Gilroy is wondering where the Tyrone players are - the Dublin players have been on the pitch for two minutes now.
1940 Dublin have been breath-taking at times but they've missed chances and given away too many frees in the 35 minutes. That has kept Tyrone in the game. Mickey Harte needs to get more from his team.
Half-time: Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-06
35 + 3 min This could be a vital score for Tyrone as Sean Cavanagh's free on the stroke of the whistle makes it a five-point game at the break. Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-06
35 +2 min Brilliant team score from the Dubs as Bernard Brogan goes high to win the ball and offload to his brother who shoots in an instance and finds the target. Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-05
35 min Diarmuid Connolly has been sensational this half and takes his tally to 0-05 for the 35 minutes, picking up the loose ball and lobbing it over with ease in that almost-lazy style that draws so much confidence. Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-05
34 min Alan Brogan should score as he marches down the right wing, looks up but shoots just wide.
32 min Soft free for Tyrone as Bastick is adjudged to have foul Kevin Hughes and Peter Hughes make no mistake with the free on this occasion. Dublin have dominated this half totally. But the lead is now just four points. Dublin 0-09 Tyrone 0-05

30 min Connolly and Brogan combine to win it from a long ball forward and feed Cullen, who adds to the lead. Dublin 0-09 Tyrone 0-03
29 min Peter Harte misses a great chance for the Red Hand from a free off the ground. They're really struggling to stay in the game, a goal for the Dubs and you'd feel it would be game over.
26 min Cian O'Sullivan starts a Dublin move from close to his own endline. It is worked up the right side and Bernard Brogan drops short, turns and shoots with his left foot over the bar. Dublin 0-08 Tyrone 0-03
24 min That's another wide for the Dubs with Denis Bastick unable to beat the near post from 30 metres out. They might regret not taking their chances, Tyrone are likely to come back fighting shortly.
23 min James McCarthy shoots wide after a long run up the field. He had team-mates well placed in that instance. Moments later Martin Penrose snatches a shot wide in a rare attack by Tyrone.

19 min Tyrone are starting to get to grips with the Dublin forwards in the last couple of minutes. The Dublin fans are really enjoying this one.
17 min As I said, he doesn't look like missing. Diarmuid Connolly's movement is killing Tyrone and more excellent shooting from the left of the field brings another point. Dublin 0-06 Tyrone 0-03
16 min Sean Cavanagh's free from close to the touchline lands inside the posts for a great score for Mickey Harte's team. Dublin 0-05 Tyrone 0-03

14 min It is non-stop action as Alan Brogan notches the first wide of the day, shooting off-balance from 30 metres.
11 min Diarmuid Connolly pulls away from his marker once again as fine defending from the Dubs is turnedinto attack. Connolly was quick to find a shooting angle and he doubles the lead. Dublin 0-04 Tyrone 0-02
9 min Score of the day so far from Alan Brogan, unleashing a curling shot from the right wing that sneaks just inside the post. Dublin 0-03 Tyrone 0-02
8 min Long move from Tyrone as they pass it close to the Dublin goal. Eventually you feel they will lose the ball and Kevin Hughes had to shoot under pressure. The Hill greet the shot with delight as it's off-target.
6 min Lovely work by Barry Cahill, showing composed play on the right and picking out Diarmuid Connolly superbly. Connolly took his time and picked his spot between the posts. Dublin 0-02 Tyrone 0-02
5 min Sean Cavanagh makes no mistake with the free. The Red Hand lead once again. There are a few worrying signs for the Dubs. They need to tighten up at the back. Dublin 0-01 Tyrone 0-02
4 min James McCarthy was too aggressive in his attempts to get the ball off Colm Cavanagh, giving away a needless free 35 metres from goal.
3 min Cluxton comes up for the 45 and brings the Dubs level. Dublin 0-01 Tyrone 0-01
2 min This could be a classic. Bernard Brogan is picked out by his brother and forces Pascal McConnell into a fantastic save. McConnell had to be at full-stretch to knock past the post.
1 min Excellent stort for Tyrone as they work it up the field to Mark Donnelly who has enough time to shoot at goal and score the first point of the day. Dublin 0-00 Tyrone 0-01
1859 The crowd are still very excited despite the bad weather. Both teams are in their pre-match huddle, with Paul Flynn head of affairs for the Dubs.
1856 Rain continues to fall on the players as they parade around the pitch. I hope it doesn't spoil the game. Pat Spillane believes Dublin's changes are a "good move".
1853 There is a crowd of 70,000 expected tonight but Croker has been slow to fill.
1847 Some late changes for the Dubs. Michael Dara McAuley is in in for Eamon Fennell. Barry Cahill replaces Eoghan O'Gara.
1840 Tyrone: Pascal McConnell; Martin Swift, Joe McMahon, Justin McMahon; Sean O'Neill, Conor Gormley, Philip Jordan; Kevin Hughes, Sean Cavanagh; Colm Cavanagh, Brian McGuigan, Peter Harte; Martin Penrose, Mark Donnelly, Owen Mulligan.

1834 Joe Brolly is part of the panel today with Colm O'Rourke and Pat Spillane. O'Rourke believes Tyrone are fantastic value at 6/4 with the bookmakers. Pat Spillane is talking up the chances of a red card being shown. Given the conditions now, after such heavy rain, it might not be a bad shout.
1826 There has been only been one draw after extra-time in 57 matches this year.
1818 Opinions are divided on this one folks, which is a great sign. There is heavy rain falling in Dublin now.

1813 From Alan Doyle on Twitter: "Think Tyrone are going to spoil the party. Dublin are favourites but I think Tyrone are going to grind it out."
1810 "Thanks to the wonders of technology, I'll be following the excitement of the match from my hospital bed in Dublin. Here's hoping a win for the Dubs will send some good karma my way!"
Muireann Banks
1800 I fancy Dublin to win by six to eight points this evening. My colleagues have varying opinions and we had a long debate about this morning on Twitter, resulting in a small wager. Who else thinks the Dubs will put in their best performance of the year so far in this game? That probably isn't saying much though.
1720 We'll have team news later and TV coverage starts at 6:30pm.
1620 Read a preview on the game here. We've had a big debate about the outcome tonight, more on that shortly.
1545 Walking by Croke Park earlier there was an eerie silence around the stadium. I suppose it is to be expected seven hours before throw-in. But I couldn't help think about what it would be like this evening. The stakes are so high for Dublin and Tyrone. It should be a cracker.
