Tom Cribbin has quit as Offaly football manager after three years in charge.

The Clane native informed county board chairperson Pat Teehan of his decision after a period of reflection following Offaly’s Round 2 Qualifier defeat to Limerick on 9 July.

Prior to Cribben’s announcement, a selection committee had been put in place to choose the next manager.
