Derry were two-point winners over Kildare after a 0-13 to 0-11 win in their Allianz Football League Division 2 clash at Newbridge.
Paddy Bradley, Conleth Gilligan, Sean Leo McGoldrick and James Kielt helped Derry claim a 0-07 to 0-06 interval lead.
John Doyle took his tally to 0-05, at the start of the second half, as the Lilywhites edged back in front.
But the Oak Leafers strung together four quick-fire scores from Gilligan, Mark Lynch and Bradley to tee up their second Allianz NFL Division 2 success.
Derry almost made a storming start to this game, but Declan Mullan drove his second minute shot wide when given a chance to beat Kildare goalkeeper Shane Connolly.
Padraig O'Neill kickstarted a good spell for the hosts, landing the opening point before Doyle clipped over two frees.

Derry were struggling to cope with Kildare's aggressive defence and most of the traffic was heading towards Mickey Conlon's goal.
But John Brennan's side turned things around before half-time, with Paddy Bradley and Conleth Gilligan showing good accuracy under pressure.
Bradley converted a free for Derry's opening point in the 20th minute. Teenager Fionn Dowling, who did brilliantly to score from a tight angle, and Doyle added to wind-backed Kildare's tally, only for corner forward Gilligan to drive Derry on.
The Ballinderry clubman landed three points and Bradley scored from play to make it 0-07 to 0-05 to Derry, before Dowling closed the first half's scoring with his second point.
A brace of points from Doyle, one a free, edged Kildare back in front at 0-08 to 0-07 when the second half got underway.
McGoldrick, who profited from a quick turnover, got Derry back on terms before Gilligan, Mark Lynch and Bradley gave the visitors a 0-13 to 0-09 advantage by the hour mark.
Doyle, who missed some kickable frees in the final quarter, and Alan Smith both pointed to make it a two-point game with seven minutes left on the clock.
But the Dr. McKenna Cup finalists showed admirable resolve to see out their sixth competitive win of the campaign, which has them second in the table behind Laois.
