Dublin manager Pat Gilroy has received a boost with the news that Bernard Brogan is two weeks away from a return to action following an ankle injury.
It was feared that the Dubs attacker had suffered medial ligament damage after playing in a club match for St Oliver Plunkett's at the weekend, but scans have revealed that the knee had been only badly bruised.
Ahead of their championship opener against Wexford on 13 June, Gilroy will also be pleased that Bryan Cullen is back in training after recovering from a back problem, while Kevin Bonnar, Blaine Kelly and Darren Magee should also all be back in the next two weeks.
