David Henry has been confirmed as the new Dublin senior football captain after Paul Griffin was ruled out for the season with torn cruciate ligament.
Henry's appointment comes as little surprise given that he was already vice captain and wore the captain's armband in the Dubs' previous two NFL games.
Meanwhile Dublin manager Pat Gilroy finally has some positive news on the fitness front with both Alan Brogan and Barry Cahill in line to be part of the squad to take on Westmeath in next Sunday's league encounter.
