The Dublin gaelic football team will line out for their O’Byrne Cup clash with Wexford on Sunday with no sponsor’s logo on the famous sky blue jersey, according to a newspaper report.

It was reported before Christmas indicated that Dublin had landed a lucrative six-year sponsorship deal with Vodafone however to cover both the footballers and the hurlers.

However, the deal has apparently not been concluded.

The Irish Times now says that the Dubs will play without a sponsor in at Parnell Park on Sunday.

Dublin’s 18-year shirt sponsorship deal with Arnott’s ended last year.
