John Owens has been named as John Kiely’s successor as Waterford senior football manager.
The Down native was ratified at Monday’s county board meeting after Kiely was let go after five years in charge.
Owens had a long career with the Tipperary footballers and also represented Munster during that time in the Railway Cup. He also managed the county team in 2007.
