Cork hurler Eoin Cadogan has been called up to the county's football panel ahead of their All-Ireland quarter-final.
Cadogan won an All-Ireland U21 Football medal with Cork back in 2007 and was also involved with the senior football panel that year, but opted to commit to the hurlers from last year.
However, with the hurlers now out of the Championship, the Douglas native will join the footballers for training this week.
With Anthony Lynch and John Miskella continuing as injury doubts, Cadogan may even be in line for a starting place in the quarter-final.
