Ciaran Bonner and Neil Gallagher will not be recalled to the Donegal squad, despite the injury of Christy Toye, manager John Joe Doherty has insisted.
Toye has been ruled out of action for at least six months after he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in last weekend's qualifying victory over Clare.
However, despite Toye's absence, Doherty will not be offering an olive branch to either Bonner or Gallagher, who were both dumped from the squad due to discipline issues.
'I would love to have them, but it would send out the wrong signals to others in the squad,' Doherty said.
'Christy was very unfortunate. There was no collision or anything, but it is a serious injury,' he added.
