Mayo midfield star Ronan McGarrity is unlikely to feature in the Connacht final against Galway after suffering a suspected broken jaw in a club match on Sunday.
The Ballina man was involved in an off-the-ball collision in the early stages of the fixture against Crosmolina and was taken to Mayo General Hospital.
McGarrity’s side went down by 0-5 to 0-11 in a physical encounter that also saw Ciaran McDonald return to the fray for Crosmolina after a six-week spell on the sidelines.
