Kerry’s Kieran Donaghy and Tommy Walsh are expected to be fit for their side's Munster SFC opener against either Cork or Waterford in Killarney on 7 June.

The pair missed their respective clubs' county championship opener last weekend, with Austin Stacks' attacker Donaghy on crutches after injuring his foot, but reports have suggested that the towering forward will be back training in just over a fortnight's time.

Walsh, who picked up a hamstring injury during the Kingdom's recent NFL final win over Derry, is expected to have the injury cleared up in the coming weeks as well, as is former captain Paul Galvin's groin problem.

The biggest concern at present for Jack O'Connor is thought to be the fitness of his midfielder Seamus Scanlon, who is racing to overcome an ankle problem for the semi-final.
