There is speculation this morning that returned AFL star Tadhg Kennelly will line out for Kerry in this weekend's national football league meeting with Derry.
The Irish Independent is reporting that Kennelly started at midfield alongside Michael Quirke during a challenge match against the county's U-21 side last weekend.
As David Moran and Tommy Walsh are likely to be rested with the forthcoming U21 Munster championship in mind, Kennelly may well make his first start for the county since his return from Australia in January.
The Listowel native returned from Down Under a year earlier than scheduled to avoid further injury as he pursues his dream to emulate his father by winning the All-Ireland SFC title with the Kingdom.
