Cash strapped Wexford GAA Board have received a further financial setback with the shock withdrawal of Wexford Creamery as the county's main sponsor.
One of the longest serving sponsorships in the GAA the decision of Wexford Creamery to end their association with the GAA in the county sees the county losing their €80,000 sponsorship deal.
This is a devastating blow to the GAA in the county who at their December convention reported a financial loss of over €250,000, which came on the back of a previous loss in 2007.
Now with the National League less than four weeks away the county is left without a main sponsor.
