Tyrone captain Brian Dooher has given the clearest indication yet that he intends to return for another season in 2009.
The 33-year-old All-Ireland winning captain said: 'We'll see what happens with injuries and stuff like that there first.
'If I get myself injured, I have to get injuries cleared up, then decide over the winter. It's hard to know.'
Manager Mickey Harte has already publicly urged his captain to throw his weight behind Tyrone's bid to win back-to-back titles next year.
Dooher has captained the Red Hands to two Sam Maguire Cup triumphs, in 2005 and this summer, after winning the first of his three All-Ireland medals in 2003.
His outstanding performances this season, after battling his way back from career-threatening injuries, have earned him numerous accolades, including nominations for Allstar and Footballer of the Year awards.
