Shane Murray describes all the action as it unfolded as Tyrone emphatically swept aside Dublin in the last All-Ireland SFC quarter-final at a rain-soaked Croke Park.

Dublin 1-08 Tyrone 3-14

FULL-TIME Dublin 1-08 Tyrone 3-14: Dublin's 13-year wait for an All-Ireland title goes on as they are emphatically taken apart by a rampant Tyrone, who now look odds on to meet Kerry or Cork in the final on 21 September. An 'immaculate performance' heralded Joe Brolly from his perch in The Sunday Game studio, and, on this display, The Kingdom will have to produce something special if they are to claim their cherished three-in-a-row.

69 mins Paul Casey shoots narrowly over with another desperate attempt on goal, but there is nothing this Dublin side can do to prevent the inevitable against a Tyrone side who look as well-tuned as I have ever seen them. 1-08 to 3-14

67 mins Bryan Cullen and Vaughan both have shots closed down as they attempt to find the goal that Dublin so badly need.

65 mins Dooher, certainly a candidate for Man of the Match, leaves the field to widespread applause after another all-action display.

64 mins Substitute Vaughan opens his account for Dublin with a fine, but at this point, cosmetic score. 1-07 to 3-14

62 mins McGinley and Dooher combine for the latter to register yet another point as both sides make a host of changes going into the latter stages of a game that has realistically, been out of sight since the opening minutes of the second half. 1-06 to 3-14

60 mins Midfielder Enda McGinley, traditionally a left-footer, casually slots a right-footed effort over to extend Tyrone's lead. Tyrone are unstoppable at this stage. 1-06 to 3-13

58 mins Joe McMahon makes the most of the increased space in the Dublin rearguard to point to bag himself another fine point. 1-06 to 3-12

56 mins Cavanagh point from a free. 1-06 to 3-11

54 mins Sherlock off for Vaughan and McMahon on for Quinn.

53 mins Harte adds another stunning point after another foray forward from the back and good work from Philip Jordan. 1-06 to 3-10

52 mins Alan Brogan gets his second score to perhaps give Dublin some hope. 1-06 to 3-09

50 mins GOAL! Davy Harte, a willing runner all day from his half-back berth, fends off the attempts of two Dublin defenders and shows the composure of a forward to drive past Cluxton for Tyrone's third goal. The inspired Tommy McGuigan was again the man who supplied the final ball. 1-05 to 3-09

48 mins Dublin substitution. Paul Casey on for Connolly.

44 mins Cavanagh restores Tyrone's seven-point cushion with another example of his exquisite marksmanship and this Tyrone side now look certainties to advance to a semi-final meeting with Wexford. Don't they? 1-05 to 2-09

43 mins Connolly finds Keaney and the corner-forward holds off the attention of two Tyrone markers to split the uprights with one of the scores of the afternoon. The rain has cleared but has Dublin's chances of glory evaporated with it? As it stands, it looks like they're out as Tyrone continue to knock over scores with ease. 1-05 to 2-08

41 mins Mossy Quinn brings it back to seven, the margin of Tyrone's 2005 quarter-final victory, with a confidently converted free. 1-04 to 2-08

39 mins Dooher hits the crossbar and the danger is cleared by Griffin. Another let-off for this rattled Dublin side.

38 mins Tyrone are rampant since the restart and McCullagh tags on another fine score. 1-03 to 2-08

37 mins Tommy McGuigan extends the lead to seven after being set up by excellent play from the astute Ryan McMenamin. 1-03 to 2-07

36 mins Dooher capitalises on a slip by Moran and powers forward to score left-footed and settle Tyrone in the first minute of the second half. It's double scores now. 1-03 to 2-06

The attendance has been confirmed as 70,877. There have been no changes made by either side at the break.

HALF-TIME Dublin 1-03 Tyrone 2-05: A surprisingly open first half ends with Mickey Harte’s men looking perfectly poised to repeat their 2005 success over Paul Caffrey’s side. Dublin have only scored from four of their 12 chances, while Tyrone have been a little more clinical with seven from 15. However, the Dubs are still only five points behind at the break and have it all to play for in the second half. As a neutral, I’m hoping for more precision in front of the posts from the Leinster champions and then we might see Tyrone’s resolve seriously challenged. Stay here for all the latest from Croke Park.

35 + 3 mins Substitute Brogan pulls another point back just before the whistle with typical aplomb. 1-03 to 2-05

35 + 2 mins Whelan booked for foul on goalscorer McMahon.

35 mins GOAL! Joe McMahon restores Tyrone’s six-point advantage with a clinical right foot finish from in front of the goal, after Tommy McGuigan outstripped Cahill to find the half-forward, who gave Cluxton no chance. 1-02 to 2-05

33 mins GOAL! Conal Keaney beats John Devine to Colin Moran’s long ball into the square to punch to the net and Dublin are right back in the game with half-time looming. 1-02 to 1-05

30 mins Whelan goes down around midfield after taking a Cavanagh shoulder on the chin. The Tyrone man was lucky to escape without any sanction. The veteran Dublin midfielder appeared shaken after receiving attention.

26 mins GOAL! Tyrone stretch their lead in emphatic style as Cavanagh bursts through on goal and hammers his shot right-footed to the net past Cluxton. However, there was certainly a suspicion of the Red Hands man taking more than the three steps allowed. More like ten from my count. Regardless, the score stands and Tyrone now look in complete control against a badly misfiring Dublin. 0-02 to 1-05

25 mins Dooher pulls his effort left and wide after creating the opening with a neat little jink around Shane Ryan.

24 mins Tommy McGuigan and McCullagh combine for the latter to pop another fine score between the posts with that sweet left foot of his. 0-02 to 0-05

23 mins Both sides are playing some decent football despite the conditions, although a couple of point attempts have dropped short at both ends.

20 mins Cluxton denies Tommy McGuigan a certain goal chance from close range with a stunning block after the Tyrone man evaded his marker to find himself one-on-one with the Dublin ‘keeper.

19 mins Colm McCullagh doubles Tyrone’s lead again with a fine effort from distance. 0-02 to 0-04

18 mins Brian Dooher puts his side back in front with a textbook point from the right. 0-02 to 0-03

17 mins Dublin squander an excellent chance to open their goal account when Quinn and Connolly find themselves two on one against Justin McMahon, but Quinn ‘over cooks’ his hand pass and the opportunity goes abegging.

15 mins Seconds later Cahill surges up from his half-back berth to level the scores after excellent build-up play from Diarmuid Connolly and Shane Ryan. 0-02 to 0-02

14 mins Quinn finally registers Dublin's opening score with a handy free from in front of the posts. 0-01 to 0-02

12 mins Cavanagh hits the upright from distance with a booming effort and Cluxton gathers to clear. I said the weather couldn't get any worse than last week, but it appears Mother Nature might have other ideas as the rain gets heavier and heavier.

9 mins Mossy Quinn registers Dublin's second wide of the afternoon from the left touchline as the Leinster champions look nervous. Brogan and Ciaran Whelan also fail to hit the target in the following two minutes to take their wides tally to four.

8 mins Conor Gormley bursts through from centre half-back to split the posts superbly and increase Tyrone's advantage to two points. 0-00 to 0-02

7 mins Barry Cahill is booked for Dublin.

5 mins Alan Brogan hits the left upright from a tight angle, while Jason Sherlock strikes carelessly wide from in front of the posts. That is, however, Brogan's last input as he has to leave the field through an injury picked up in the warm-up and he is replaced by his brother Bernard.

2 mins McGuigan puts Tyrone ahead with a fine point after getting the better of his marker Paul Griffin. The score is followed by a flash of lightning and a roar of thunder which shakes the building here at RTÉ.ie HQ in Donnybrook.

1 min Dublin, kicking into the Hill 16 end, are under pressure straight away as goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton has to gather from Tommy McGuigan under his crossbar following Cavanagh, who does start at full-forward, centering from the left.

4.00 It's not quite a full house at HQ, but despite the atrocious conditions Croker is near capacity. We may not get the rain that fell during last Saturday's Kerry v Galway clash, but if we can get something close to the quality of that game we'll do well. Game on!

3:55 There is a serious pre-match doubt over Tyrone talisman Sean Cavanagh, who is rumoured to have gone over on an ankle in the dressing room. However, he is out on the pitch and appearing to look comfortable enough to start.

Summer? What summer. After negotiating the floods and the traffic in a rain-soaked capital, I can finally introduce you to today's Dublin v Tyrone matchtracker.
