Sean Armstrong has emerged as an injury concern for Galway ahead of their All-Ireland Football SFC quarter-final against Kerry on Saturday.

The Salthill/Knocknacarra clubman injured his groin during a training session, and joins defender Declan Meehan and midfielder Joe Bergin on the treatment table.

Bergin returned to training last week after four months out with an Achilles injury, but suffered a setback when he damaged a quad muscle in training on Monday.

The Connacht champions are also sweating on the availability of versatile veteran Meehan, who is struggling with a hamstring strain.

Galway boss Liam Sammon will name his team after training tonight.
