Saturday's O'Byrne Cup semi-final between the senior footballers of Dublin and Carlow has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch.
Heavy rain in the capital has meant that the Parnell Park pitch is not in a good enough condition for this evening's tie to go ahead.
The game has some added spice as new Carlow manager Paul Bealin is plotting the downfall of his former county.
It has been rescheduled by the Leinster Council for Tuesday night at Parnell Park (throw-in 7.30pm).
Dublin are the reigning O'Byrne Cup champions, having beaten Laois by 1-18 to 2-13 after extra-time in last year's final.
Meanwhile, former senior football panellist David 'Dotsy' O'Callaghan has been named in the Dublin hurling team for tomorrow's Walsh Cup encounter with UCD (Fingallians ground, Swords, throw-in 2pm).
O'Callaghan has not played for the capital's senior hurlers since 2004, after which he turned his attention to football.
But following a break last summer, the St. Mark's clubman has decided to concentrate on his hurling career.
Dubs boss Tommy Naughton has opted to name noted forward Declan Qualter at wing back for the clash with the students.
The UCD starting line-up includes two Dublin seniors in Tomas Brady and Ross O'Carroll, while Joey Boland is expected to be brought on off the bench.
