Brian Dooher has been confirmed as the captain of the Tyrone senior football team for the forthcoming season.
Dooher has been handed the captaincy for a fourth successive season, but is likely to miss the early stages of the National Football League through injury.
He became the second Red Hand skipper to lift the Sam Maguire Cup in 2005, playing alongside Peter Canavan, who had led the county to its first All-Ireland title two years earlier.
