Former Kerry boss Jack O’Connor has returned to club management as successor to John Evans at Tralee side Kerins O’Rahillys.
O’Connor was approached after Evans finished his two year-term and decided to take over the reins with the Tipperary senior footballers.
O’Connor, who has a nephew playing with O’Rahillys, will be taking over with immediate effect for an initial one-year term.
Kerins O’Rahillys chairman Sean Kissane is delighted that O’Connor is coming to Strand Road.
‘The matter was only finalised at lunchtime on Thursday,’ Kissane admitted.
‘We felt that Jack was the right man to bring success back to the club again and we are delighted to have got such a big name.’
