AIB LEINSTER FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Éire Óg (Carlow) 3-09 Tullamore (Offaly) 1-08
Carlow champions Éire Óg advanced to the next round of the AIB Leinster Football Championship a comprehensive victory over Tullamore's Offaly.
Tullamore had led 1-06 to 1-04 at the break, with Shane Dooley amassing an impressive 1-05 during a productive opening 35 minutes.
Alan Curran's goal kept Éire Óg in touch, while further goals from Eric McCormack and Simon Rae ensured the Carlow side will progress to face Westmeath champions Tyrellspass in the next round.
CORK COUNTY FOOTBALL FINAL
Nemo Rangers 0-12 Ilen Rovers 0-09
Nemo Rangers secured their third Cork County Football title in a row and their sixth title in eight years with a hard fought victory over Ilen Rovers.
Nemo trailed by 0-06 to 0-04 at the break, but in the end, Rangers' greater experience showed as they rallied in the second half to beat Rovers, who were competing in their first ever final.
GALWAY COUNTY FOOTBALL FINAL
Killererin 1-09 Milltown 0-10
Killererin claimed their first Galway County Football title since 2004 with a narrow two point win over Milltown.
Tomás Fahy's first half goal gave Killererin a 1-07 to 0-04 half-time lead, and despite Milltown's gallant efforts, they held on to take their fifth title.
