The death has taken place of Dublin GAA legend Mick Holden. He was 52.

Holden was a member of the victorious Dublin side that won the All-Ireland Football Championship in 1983.

He died suddenly this morning.

Holden played inter-county football and hurling for Dublin and was a member of the Cuala club in Dublin.
