Tyrone skipper Brian Dooher has been passed fit to face Meath in Saturday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final at Croke Park.

Dooher, the only Red Hand survivor from the last championship meeting between the counties in 1996, had been a major doubt due to a groin problem.

Manager Mickey Harte has performed surgery on his full-back line, with only Ryan McMenamin remaining from the team that defeated Monaghan in the Ulster final.

Joe McMahon moves from midfield to replace Ciaran Gourley at full-back, while Damien McCaul comes in for his first championship start in place of Dermot Carlin in the left corner.

Kevin Hughes, who started at full forward in the provincial decider, resumes his midfield partnership with Sean Cavanagh.

The reshuffle sees Gerard Cavlan switch from wing forward to full forward, with Ryan Mellon recalled at left half forward.

Stephen O'Neill is kept out of the starting fifteen by a knee tendonitis problem, but is likely to make an appearance at some stage.

Tyrone: J Devine, R McMenamin, J McMahon, D McCaul, D Harte, C Gormley, P Jordan, K Hughes, S Cavanagh, B Dooher, R Mulgrew, R Mellon, C McCullagh, G Cavlan, O Mulligan.
