Tyrone captain Brian Dooher is likely to miss out on Saturday's All-Ireland football quarter-final against Meath.
Dooher featured heavily in the 2003 and 2005 champions' Ulster championship wins over Donegal and Monaghan.
However the Clann na nGael man is struggling to shake off a hernia injury and he only managed 15 minutes of an internal practice match at the weekend.
Stephen O'Neill is another serious injury doubt for the Red Hand county, while Brian McGuigan and Michael McGee are definitely out.
