Tyrone star Stephen O’Neill is doubtful for the Ulster final after suffering a fresh hamstring injury.
O’Neill, who has been frequently troubled by hamstring problems in recent times, faces a race against time to be fit for the July 15 provincial decider clash with Monaghan.
The forward picked up the injury during training with the Red Hands, having recovered from tendonitis in a knee, a condition which had set in immediately after his recovery from a previous hamstring injury.
O’Neill missed the first round win over Fermanagh, but was able to make a late substitute appearance in the semi-final defeat of Donegal, scoring two points.
On the plus side for Tyrone, Gerard Cavlan is back in training following a knee injury, while Tommy McGuigan, recovering from a broken wrist, is also back training although he has yet to do any ball work.
