There was more indiscipline on show in the Leinster Minor Football Championship semi-final between Carlow and Louth at Croke Park today with 29 players involved in ugly scenes.
Two players were eventually sent-off by the match referee after the mass confrontation between both sets of players.
The Carlow goalkeeper was the only player to keep his distance from the melee, in what was the warm-up to the Leinster SFC semi-final between Dublin and Offaly.
Once order was restored and play continued, Carlow secured their place in the provincial decider with a 1-10 to 0-09 victory.
