Former All-Ireland winning manager Eamonn Coleman has passed away after a long illness.
Coleman guided Derry to All-Ireland Football success glory in 1993 and later had spells as manager with Longford and Cavan.
His son Gary played on the Derry team which lifted the Sam Maguire trophy.
Coleman was sensationally sacked by Derry in 1994 but returned to succeed Brian Mullins in 1999, leading them to a National League title in 2000.
A native of Ballymcguigan in Derry, Coleman won an All-Ireland minor medal as a player in 1965 and was an Under-21 title winner in 1968.
