Tyrone will definitely be without Brian McGuigan for Sunday's Ulster Senior Football Championship opener with Fermanagh.
The Ardboe man required facial surgery having sustained an eye injury during a club game at the weekend.
McGuigan joins former player of the year Stephen O'Neill (hamstring) and Martin Penrose (knee) on the sidelines, while Owen Mulligan and Raymie Mulgrew are both extremely doubtful.
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte had hoped to have McGuigan on the bench for the Clones clash with the Erne men, but that now won't happen.
McGuigan broke his leg in a club game just over a year ago, and had returned to action with his club seven weeks ago, before complications set in, and he had to have further surgery on a related ankle problem.
