Donegal's senior football team have been rocked by the news that Brendan Devenney will take up to three months to recover fully from a stomach muscle injury.
Devenney picked up the injury during Donegal's National Football League final victory over Mayo and a scan confirmed the bad news this week.
The forward has been told that a series of injections may allow him to play, but told the BBC that the situation is 'far from ideal'.
