Armagh powered past Monaghan at Healy Park this afternoon to lift the Cadbury's Ulster Under-21 football title.

Johnny Hanratty, one of Crossmaglen's All-Ireland heroes, cracked home a 58th-minute goal and three injury-time points followed as Peter McDonald's Orchard side staged a second half comeback.

Monaghan had led 1-4 to 0-5 at half-time, after Shane Smith slipped home a fifth-minute goal and Ciaran Hanratty notched three points.

But in front of a 3,500-strong crowd, points from man of the match Stefan Forker and Paul Courtney saw the pre-match favourites come good, booking themselves an All-Ireland semi-final clash with Cork.
