Goals from Gerald Pierson, Mark McKeever and Dermot McCabe inspired Cavan to a deserved win over Antrim at Casement Park.
Pierson slipped a fifth-minute shot past Antrim stopper John Finucane to set the visitors on their way to a 2-6 to 0-8 half-time lead.
McKeever's shot from 15 metres out rippled the net in the 20th-minute.
Mickey McCann and Paddy Cunningham (0-3 each) led Antrim’s first half scoring.
The Saffrons got back to 2-9 to 0-13 with McCann and Cunningham again on target before Cavan sewed up the win.
McCabe's penalty came after a foot-block on Lorcan Mulvey.
