Dublin boss Paul Caffrey described how he was pleased with his side's character after they beat Limerick by a single point at the Gaelic Grounds over the weekend.
Dublin needed a superbly converted '45 from Tomas Quinn in the second minute of injury time to claim a 0-14 to 1-10 win and claim their first points of their Allianz League Division 1A campaign.
But Caffrey said he wasn't surprised by the strength of the Limerick challenge.
'You won’t get any easy game in this division, it’s dog-eat-dog. It remains an ambition to make the play-off stages but we also have to look at the development of the panel and take that into account going forward,' he said.
