Healy returns to Westmeath team

Damien Healy, a hero of Westmeath’s 2004 Leinster final triumph, has been recalled to the Lakes County side for Sunday’s Allianz NFL clash with Derry.

Healy, who now plays his club football with All-Ireland club champions Salthill-Knocknacarra, will line out at midfield. Attacker Peter Tormey is the one to lose out in the reshuffle.

The experiment of playing former wing-back Michael Ennis at full-back continues, while team captain Dessie Dolan is named despite an injury worry.

Westmeath (SF v Derry):  G Connaughton; F Boyle, M Ennis, K Gavin; A Rigney, D O’Donoghue, D Heavin; M Flanagan, D Healy; F Wilson, P Bannon, J Smyth; D Dolan (capt.), A Mangan, Denis Glennon.
