Armagh County Board secretary Paddy Nugent has announced that both John Toal and Aidan O'Rourke have retired from intercounty football.
Both men were members of the All Ireland winning panel in 2002 with O’Rourke winning an All-Star that year also.
Both men have struggled to feature in recent times however, with Toal struggling to overcome a leg injury sustained in the 2005 Ulster final.
Panellists Liam O’Hare and dual star Paul McCormack have also indicated that they won’t be rejoining the Orchard squad.
