Armagh's Crossmaglen Rangers were the victors in a dull match in Casement Park where they claimed the Ulster title by defeating Antrim's Ballinderry by 0-5 to 0-2.

The first half saw just two points scored, both from the boot of Oisín McConville, as both teams struggled to cope with the awful conditions in Belfast.

Ballinderry only opened their account in the fiftieth minute and a second Conleth Gilligan point left them trailing by 0-3 0-2 with ten minutes to play.

However, Crossmaglen added two more points before the final whistle to give Rangers their fifth Ulster title.
