Peter Ford has been ratified for another term as Galway senior football manager following a meeting of the county board.
Ford will be supported by a new selection team with Eoin O'Donnellan, who guided Salthill/Knocknacarra to their first All-Ireland club success earlier this year, coming on board.
Tuam's Peter Warren, who was a selector with John O'Mahony when Galway won the All-Ireland title in 1998 and 2001, has also been appointed.
The ratification of Ford for a third year in charge of the Tribesmen will bring to an end over three months of uncertainty since Galway were shocked by Westmeath in the All-Ireland qualifiers.
Ford will concentrate solely on the senior squad with Galway Football Board deciding that a separate manager should look after the Under-21 side.
