Tyrone make two changes

Tyrone boss Mickey Harte has made two changes for Saturday’s SFC Qualifier clash with Laois.

Ciaran Gourley comes in at centre-back for Conor Gormley, who has not recovered from concussion following a heavy knock he sustained against Louth in the last round.

Colin Holmes, whose season was brought to an end by a serious knee injury suffered in the same game, is replaced at midfield by Kevin Hughes. Hughes has completed a four week suspension imposed in the wake of his dismissal in the Ulster Championship defeat to Derry.

Harte had hoped to have Stephen O’Neill, Gerard Cavlan and Joe McMahon back to full fitness, but none of them have recovered.

All three will be on the bench, but the unfortunate Gormley will play no part.

Colm McCullagh, who played a starring role in the victory over Louth, is retained at left corner-forward.
