Kildare have suffered a massive blow with the news that star midfielder Dermot Earley is to miss Saturday's All Ireland qualifier against Derry at Celtic Park.
Earley pulled up in training on Tuesday night complaining of pain in his foot. A subsequent scan has revealed a stress fracture ruling him out of Saturday's game.
Kildare have named an otherwise unchanged side from the team that defeated Cavan in Newbridge in the first round.
