Knockbride attacker Larry Reilly will make his first start of the league campaign in Cavan's Allianz NFL Division 2B clash with Sligo at Markievicz Park on Sunday.

Reilly, who came off the bench in the opening Division 2B defeat to Louth, and the subsequent wins over Wicklow and Tipperary, underwent a knee operation in December and will hope to rediscover the form that saw him score 1-17 in the championship last year.

Cavan manager Martin McElkennon has made four changes to his side for the Sligo game.

Cavan Gaels ace Nicholas Walsh returns for his first league involvement of the season.

The 22-year-old will be partnered in midfield by Mickey Brennan, another new inclusion from last weekend's win over Tipp.

Anthony Gaynor also comes into the half-back line.

Keith Fannin, Lorcan Mulvey, Enda King and Ronan Flanagan are the players to make way.

CAVAN (NFL v Sligo):

J Reilly, C Collins, M Hannon, P O'Reilly; A Gaynor, A Forde (capt), M Brides; N Walsh, M Brennan; F Reilly, S Brady, L Reilly; J Reilly, E Reilly, S Johnston.
